The scissors crossover at Ealing Broadway (District) showing the configuartion of current rail breaks and ramps. Each of the ramp ends is marked with white paint.  There are also wooden ramps to carry low or broken shoes over the running rails and point mechanisms so as to avoid the risk of derailments or damage.
